Most HRCAV clubs have a pretty flexible approach to uniforms for competition and KGARC is no exception. However, please remember that it is an HRCAV Rule that when at a competition you are in THE CORRECT CLUB COLOURS and are presented as neatly and professionally as possible.

Our Colours

Our club colurs ae red and white, with black being the third registered colour for trimming.  You must wear some red with the club logo on your upper body, and ight coloured jods (i.e. white, cream, beige etc) when you are representing the club at any official events.

If it’s hot you can wear a red polo top or white shirst with red vest.  If it’s cooler you can wear any sort of red top, with white shirt and tie or stock.  Many members also wear a “ratcatcher” styled shirt.

Saddle Blankets and Bridle Numbers

Saddle blankets should be white or red, and we have red and white round logos available for $5 which look great when sewn into a corner.  Just ask Shan to show you!!

For any competition, you must provide your own numbers and number holders.  These should be worn either on the bridle or on the saddle blanket, one on each side so that it can be clearly seen by the judge.

Embroidery

We now have an arrangement with Greensborough Embroidery, Level 2 Greensborough Shopping Centre (near the escalator).  They have our logo and are able to embroider it onto your own garments for a charge of$10 per garment.

We have selected a range of basic garments, and Mr Vu can help you with sizing if you need it.  He also has a catalogue full of other uniform items you may like to look through.

You can have any of your red or white garments embroidered, so if you find that special bargain or that jacket that you “must have”, then take it along to Mr Vu who will be happy to make it look very KGARC!

Friendly Service!

If you have something you’d like embroidered but can’t get to Greensborough, then talk to Shan, as she may be able to take it there for you.
